“The talk on Catholic Social Teaching reminded me of our need to serve and live a life of charity. I think we too often look at the teachings of the church through the lens of American politics instead of political issues through our Catholic lens. The call to serve those in need, love the vulnerable, and care for creation is Catholic. I left Ty's talk inspired to serve in areas in our community where I have not often served.” Melissa W.
“During my daily prayers, I was challenged to review my current relationships. Coincidentally, I started reading Regina’s book today about authentic connection and deepening relationships. Obviously, God is trying to tell me something.” Laura H.
“Examining how I spend my evenings helped me to identify how much time I waste in the name of rest. Stacy’s presentation provided an opportunity to reflect on how I can intentionally rest and recoup some time to invest in other areas of my life.” Pamby B.
It was an amazing Harmony of Hearts! I loved the get acquainted bingo; it and the music before each speaker really set the tone. I realized as I sat there, absorbing, that all of my sisters of the heart should have been there with me. So, after the event, I made a list of all the ladies I want to bring to next year’s event. It was informative and enlightening, and good for the spirit. Stealing away from the regular responsibilities of the day for the experience was well worth it. Thank you for such a special event. “One of the best women conferences I’ve attended! I got so much out of it to assist my growth in human formation as the foundation for spiritual thriving. I recommend this summit for every woman!” Kelle S.
The Summit was a glorious experience of faith and the feminine in action. A very HOPE-filled event for women across several parishes.
What unity in diversity at HARMONY OF HEARTS! A cross-section of Christian women gathered to praise God and learn from one another on sharing life issues. The days activities flew by.
The Women's Summit at St Dominic was an opportunity for all -- young moms to widowed grannies -- to share life and faith. I especially appreciated each luncheon table dedicated to female saint. We stand on their shoulders! Sr. Judy
